Cybastion leads a delegation of American and Ivorian investors to the Ivory Coast National Data Center

Cybastion led a delegation of U.S. and Ivorian institutional investors, development finance executives and private sector executives on a visit to the Ivory Coast National Data Center to highlight investment opportunities in the country's growing digital infrastructure sector.

The delegation included representatives from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), the African Development Bank Group, the Business Council for Africa, the Official Ivory Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry and investors from the Institutional Investors Network (IIN).

Cybastion is a member of IIN, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing institutional investment in African markets.

The July 10 site visit was part of IIN’s Africa Investment Roadshow, which connects U.S. institutional investors with high-growth investment opportunities to deepen trade and economic ties between the United States and Africa.

EXIM has supported over $100 million in financing guarantees for Cybastion for the construction of the national data center and the digitalization of government services in Ivory Coast.

The Africa Investment Roadshow, held from July 6 to 10, coincided with Ivory Coast's launch of its 2025-2030 National Development Plan, which prioritizes infrastructure, industrialization, digital transformation and private sector-led economic growth.

During the on-site visit, Cybastion CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji Ketchiozo explained how the National Data Center will serve as the foundation of Ivory Coast’s sovereign digital infrastructure. The national data center will advance secure government e-services, cybersecurity and AI-enabled digital solutions to move the country towards digital sovereignty.

A team from the Ivory Coast-based Porteo Group, which is partnering with Cybastion to build the national data center, showed members of the delegation the progress made in the construction of the data center.

The investor delegation explored how public-private collaboration and innovative financing can accelerate the deployment of critical digital infrastructure across Africa.

The investor visit highlighted Cybastion's role as a systems integrator partnering with governments, US technology partners and financial institutions to deliver secure, resilient and sovereign digital ecosystems in Africa.
