A tripartite partnership was signed on December 9, 2020 in Ouagadougou between the National Information Systems Security Agencies (ANSSI) of Burkina Faso and Benin in collaboration with the CYBASTION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. This partnership will raise the level of security and contribute to the fight against cybercrime in Burkina Faso and Benin. This agreement confirms the one already signed between all parties on November 11, 2020 in Benin.

The agreement aims to significantly reduce cybersecurity vulnerabilities and develop an action plan to combat cybercrime in both countries while increasing the quality of security in both countries. This action plan establishes a five-year program that includes IT training and an IT infrastructure framework that will enable the sharing of data and resources, and the first phase of this plan establishes a technical threat exchange platform.
