Construction began in May on Ivory Coast’s “Digital City,” an innovative digital hub designed to expand connectivity, modernize government services and accelerate the country’s digital transformation.
Anchored in a sovereign data center, the Digital City, located in Grand-Bassam, will create a dynamic digital ecosystem for smarter, faster and more inclusive e-government services and innovation hubs that will boost entrepreneurship, stimulate job creation and contribute to the local economy. The digital city will also equip young people with technological skills enabling them to build a digital workforce.
The first phase of the project began with the construction of the data center, which will serve as a cornerstone of the country's digital sovereignty.
Through strategic partnerships with the Ivorian government and US stakeholders, Cybastion is helping build a sustainable, secure and innovative digital ecosystem for the region.
Stay tuned for updates on the data center construction progress.
