To improve transparency and public safety in law enforcement, the Cybastion-Benin team trained Beninese Republican Police and Customs officers in the use of body camera technology to increase accountability and transparency in their daily policing activities.

By equipping police with body camera technology, Benin Police and Republican Customs will enhance the operational efficiency of law enforcement operations and foster greater trust between law enforcement and the community.

Benin police officers using new body camera technology will be trained on how to responsibly record interactions with the public. Body camera recordings will improve evidence collection during police activities. It will also provide data to help law enforcement respond effectively to incidents.
