Cybastion and its American partners announced new agreements and valued partnershipsmore than 500 million dollarsduring the first AmCham Business Summit in Abidjan. The agreements were part of the trade agreementsofficially recognized and announced by the United States Embassy in Ivory Coastas part of its broader efforts to deepen trade and investment ties between the United States and Africa.
The Cybastion agreements, signed since January 2025, will advance digitalization, cybersecurity, infrastructure and workforce training in several African countries. These partnerships underscore Cybastion’s commitment to providing scalable, locally driven digital and infrastructure solutions, in partnership with African governments and regional financial institutions.
On the Summit stage in front of witnesses, including the United States AmbassadorJessica Davis BaAndTroy Fitrell, senior Africa official at the US Department of State and Ivorian Minister of Trade and Industry, H.E.Souleymane Diarrassouba, Cybastion partnerYaatra Venturessigned a memorandum of understanding withIvorian Refining Company (SIR)for engagement in a joint venture to establish a 200,000 b/d national refinery from domestic oil production, to create jobs and meet national and regional demand for fuels in West Africa to drive economic prosperity.

THEAmCham Business Summitt, held on the sidelines of the AfricaCEOForum in Abidjan, brought together African, US and global government officials, business leaders and investors to explore new opportunities and partnerships to boost trade and investment in Africa.

Cybastion and Angola Telecomsigned a partnership agreement in February 2025 to explore the possibility of strengthening Angola's access to internet connectivity. The partnership agreement would strengthen the country's digital infrastructure by developing scalable internet connectivity, including an undersea cable, and advanced telecommunications.
Cybastionlaunched the Digital Fast Track program with theNational Agency for Infrastructure and Digital Frequencies (ANINF) of the Gabonese Governmentin January on three new digital transformation projects: a data center, a national cybersecurity agency (SOC and CSIRT) and an e-government solution integrating digital identification and payments. These initiatives aim to modernize infrastructure, strengthen cyber resilience and expand digital access. Cybastion accelerated project implementation by completing proofs of concept for digital identification and payment systems and inaugurating the data center to preempt a competing Chinese offering.
Cybastionsigned an agreement to accelerate digital connectivity and strengthen cybersecurity with theGovernment of Guinea (Conakry)in March 2025 to help administer the country’s Safe Cities project. The agreement marks the start of a new era for digital progress and security in Guinea and offers new economic opportunities.
Cybastion and the Government of Beninformalized a partnership agreement in March 2025 to advance digital transformation and expand cybersecurity and security initiatives in the West African country. This partnership will build a Security Operations Center (SOC), an advanced cybersecurity solution that protects and builds resilience against cyber threats, as well as a new command center for all cyber operations, including a forensic laboratory. It will also provide body cameras and accessories to support the Beninese Republican Police and Customs.
Cybastionexpanded an agreement with theGovernment of Burkina Fasoin May 2025 for the second phase of the Cybersecurity and Intelligence Program in Burkina Faso (PACYR-BF), which is committed to protecting national information systems and fighting cybercrime. This agreement will build a modular data center to store and manage digital data and applications; launch “Maisons du Citoyen, MDC”, an initiative aimed at digitizing one-stop shops for online government services in post offices across the country; and a digital signature initiative to digitize public administration and strengthen digital security through public key infrastructure (PKI).
Cybastion and the West African Development Bank (BOAD)signed a partnership agreement in May 2025 to formalize a strategic public-private collaboration aimed at mobilizing resources, reducing investment risks and developing innovative digital solutions to support digital transformation in West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) countries. The agreement will help streamline the financing process, ensuring that critical digital transformation projects in West Africa receive the funding and support needed to grow.
George Mason University, Cybastion, and the Ministry of the Digital Economy of Côte d’Ivoiresign a memorandum of understanding to advance the training of students and professionals in AI, cybersecurity and digital transformation. Equipping young people and women with world-class digital and cybersecurity skills will drive innovation, build resilience against cyber threats and drive sustainable growth.
Cybastion PartnerClaim IDhas entered into a contract worth $1.15 million to provide support services to maintain and improve the national identity verification system. The system is used for citizen identity verification (chip on card) used for KYC for banking, SIMM card registration, distribution of social benefits, etc.
Cybastion PartnerVisium Analytics, LLChas a contract withCybastion Institute of Technologyworth $20 million to support the development of national data centers in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and the Republic of Benin. The engagement encompasses full lifecycle services, including architectural design, construction supervision and deployment of critical infrastructure. Visium will provide advanced solution design for power distribution, rack layouts, secure network topologies and provide a complete cybersecurity stack. The project emphasizes energy efficiency, system scalability and high standards of physical and cyber protection. Additionally, Visium will provide ongoing training and operational support to local staff, ensuring sustainable data center management.
