WHAT:
American technology company Cybastion and the government of Gabon will sign a strategic investment agreement to advance digital transformation in Gabon. This strategic agreement will accelerate Gabon’s digital transformation, strengthen cybersecurity and equip its workforce with world-class digital skills, in partnership with American technology company Cisco. The agreement positions Gabon as a regional technology leader and demonstrates the growth of U.S. private sector investment in the country.

The agreement will be signed by signed byDr Thierry Wandji, CEO of Cybastion andBrigadier General Bonjean Rodrigue Mbanza, Transitional Minister of Gabon in charge of the digital economy and new information technologies.

The agreement builds on a memorandum of understanding signed in early October during the United States-Gabon Investment Roundtable, organized by the United States-Africa Business Center of the American Chamber of Commerce.
