Gabon Office Launch Event Introduces New Country Managing Director

Cybastion is pleased to announce the appointment of Antonia Oliveira as Managing Director of its Gabon office. As Managing Director, Oliveira will oversee national operations, drive business development and stakeholder engagement, and manage daily local operations.

In Gabon, Cybastion is committed to providing digital infrastructure through the construction of a state-of-the-art data center, improving the country's cybersecurity operations and expanding access to advanced digital solutions, including digital ID.

Launched on January 27, the Africa DigiEmpower program, Cybastion's ambitious digital training initiative, will provide 1,000 Gabonese young people and women with in-demand digital skills. The training program is administered by THEYA Foundation, the company’s philanthropic organization. Registrations are open online on Gabon’s dedicated platform: africadigiempower.org

A seasoned professional in project management and strategic communication, Oliveira held the position of Marketing and Communication Director at ANPI-Gabon for six years, where she led Gabon's visibility strategy with international economic partners, coordinated sector monitoring activities and supervised the organization of major investment forums.

A graduate of Florida International University (FIU) in Strategic Communications, Oliveira holds certification in foreign direct investment from the Wavteq Institute and in project formulation based on results from the International Trade Center (ITC).
