As part of Burkina Faso's broader efforts to digitize public administration and strengthen digital security, government IT staff participated in a three-day technical training on the implementation of key components of the electronic signature platform.
The technical workshop, held April 28-30 in the town of Loumbila, was organized with technical support from Cybastion, which is leading the implementation of electronic signature through Burkina Faso's public key infrastructure (PKI) system. The workshop sessions focused on building local capacity and ensuring knowledge transfer after the installation of the digital platform.
Electronic signatures, a key element of the PKI system, advance the country's digital transformation agenda to improve the transparency, security and efficiency of government e-services.
Around thirty participants attended the workshop, including representatives of the National Information Systems Security Agency (ANSSI), the PACYR cybersecurity support program and technical experts from Cybastion. The sessions aim to strengthen local capacities and ensure knowledge transfer following the installation of Burkina Faso's electronic signature platform.
The new infrastructure is part of the government's strategy to modernize administrative procedures and strengthen the resilience of national digital systems.
