A Cybastion delegation participated this week in Cisco Live Amsterdam 2026, explore the future of technology and talent with a focus on creating a future-ready workforce, scaling up responsible and inclusive adoption of AI, and strengthening partnerships to advance Africa’s digital sovereignty.

Cisco Live Amsterdam 2026, which took place February 10-12, served as a strategic gathering for technology leaders shaping the next phase of digital transformation.

At the Pavilion, Patrick Fouda, managing partner of the Education Business Unit of Cybastion and Marie-Pascale Eyok, senior architect at Cybastion's Real Estate, joined senior Cisco executives for a discussion on the structural changes reshaping the digital economy.

Cisco speakers included Chris Reeves, vice president of Cisco’s Digital Impact Office; Amreen Kana, Head of Events and Marketing for Cisco in Europe, Middle East and Africa; and other Cisco Digital Impact Office team leaders.

The session explored how the acceleration of artificial intelligence is redefining workforce requirements and creating new requirements for skills development frameworks. Participants discussed supporting talent despite rapid technological disruption and aligning infrastructure investments with human capital development.

Panelists highlighted that digital transformation requires coordinated investments in education and resilient digital infrastructure and highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration to generate scalable and sustainable impact.

Cybastion's participation underscored its long-term commitment to developing digital skills and promoting a more connected approach to digital transformation through innovation, education and strategic alliances.
