Cybastion CEO, Dr. Thierry Wandji, and COO, André Biyong, have been named among the “Top 100 African Cybersecurity Players,” recognizing them as two of the continent’s most influential leaders in building cybersecurity resilience and digital transformation.

The annual list published by the Ciberobs – Make Africa Safe association identifies key contributors to Africa’s cybersecurity landscape for their efforts to shape the future of the continent’s digital security. The selection process is based on rigorous evaluation criteria, including technological innovation, research, awareness, training initiatives and project impact.

This year's list marks the 5th anniversary of Ciberobs' mission to strengthen cybersecurity in Africa. The expanded list of 100 influential figures highlights the growing importance of the sector on the continent and the demand for a resilient digital ecosystem.

Under their leadership, Cybastion has become a global technology leader providing digital and cybersecurity solutions in Africa, working in partnership with African governments to ensure the protection of information systems and electronic assets nationally.

“Trust and security are paramount in today’s digital landscape. It is therefore a great honor to be named among the top cybersecurity professionals in Africa, especially in a year where our collective efforts have gained new momentum,” said Dr. Wandji.
