African heads of state from Gabon, Senegal, Liberia, Guinea-Bissau and Mauritania gathered in Washington on July 9 for a multilateral presidential meeting at the White House aimed at deepening trade engagement between the United States and African countries.
On the sidelines of the official multilateral meeting, theUS Chamber of Commerce US-Africa Business Centerhosted business executive roundtables and private meetings with heads of state and U.S. private sector leaders, focused on strengthening economic ties between the United States and Africa.
